“Why Maths is the Key” Workshop Submissions Open

On Monday 27th May 2019 SASPA, the Mathematical Association of South Australia (MASA) and The Institute of Educational Assessors (IEA) will jointly host a symposium event for Directors of Studies, Heads of Mathematics Departments and Secondary Mathematics Teachers across all 3 education sectors.

We are currently seeking abstracts for interested Workshop Presenters.

Workshop sessions will run for 75 minutes and the planning committee for this event are looking for interactive and experiential presentations that explore one or more of the following themes:

  • Problem-based learning
  • Project-based learning
  • School Industry Partnerships
  • Futures-focussed innovation
  • A Paradigm Shift in the Leadership of Mathematics

If you have some effective practice to share with your colleagues we ask you to submit your expression of interest – essentially a 150 word abstract in the online form below
